House rules

So that everyone feels comfortable – guests, neighbours and us. Please follow these rules during your stay at Gästehaus Weikl. Binding rental conditions are in the terms.

Arrival and departure

  • Arrival from 15:00, departure by 10:00 (different only by arrangement).
  • Key handover and short briefing by agreed appointment.
  • Please let us know in advance if you arrive late.
  • Return or deposit keys on departure as agreed – do not take them with you.

Quiet and consideration

  • Quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00.
  • Please also be considerate of neighbours and other guests during the day.
  • Parties, loud music and events are not permitted.

No pets

Pets are not allowed in the accommodation – not even briefly or “just overnight”.

Smoking

  • Absolute smoking ban in the units and indoor areas (including e-cigarettes).
  • Outdoors only where agreed or marked – and so that nobody is bothered.
  • Please dispose of cigarette ends completely; not in beds or on the ground.

Occupancy

  • Only the number of persons stated at booking may stay overnight.
  • Additional overnight guests only with our consent.
  • The accommodation is not for subletting or transfer.

Living and inventory

  • Treat furnishings, appliances and inventory with care.
  • Please report defects, damage or losses promptly – do not “repair and stay silent”.
  • Do not rearrange furniture without agreement; do not attach anything to walls.
  • Use heating, hob, sink and electrical appliances as intended.

Kitchen and waste

  • Tidy the kitchen after cooking; wash dishes or load the dishwasher.
  • Separate waste (residual, paper, glass, organic – according to sorting on site).
  • Full bags into the designated bins; nothing beside the containers.
  • Empty the fridge on departure; do not leave spoiled food behind.

Energy, water, safety

  • Use lights, heating and hot water sparingly.
  • When away for longer: close windows and doors, lights off, reduce heating if needed.
  • No open fires in the unit; candles only with supervision and a stable stand.
  • Keep escape routes and access clear. In case of fire: stay calm, leave the building, call 112.

Parking and outdoors

  • Use parking by arrangement / marking – keep driveways and neighbours’ spaces clear.
  • Keep terrace, entrance and paths tidy; stow garden furniture in bad weather or on departure if available.
  • Dry laundry only in designated places.

Wi‑Fi

  • Wi‑Fi is available to guests – access details on arrival.
  • No unlawful use (e.g. illegal downloads).
  • We cannot guarantee a particular speed.

Departure – please leave as follows

  • Dishes washed and put away, sink clean.
  • Waste disposed of, fridge empty.
  • Leave bed linen and towels on the bed or as discussed (do not wash).
  • Close windows, heating on economy, lights off, lock the door.
  • Leave broom-clean – we handle final cleaning; we charge for heavy extra work.
